they overcame some of their struggles.

from the ERC to several companies and the next day he got a job offer from a

I recently found a job, and while it is with a
company of people I know well, and I believe I've been hired because of many
years of experience, I did, nonetheless, come across the job posting while
using the facilities at the Dufferin employment centre. It was posted on the
work in culture website
(advertised on the sector specific section of DERC.ca). I then went
through two hours of interviews, and had to prove
myself the best candidate in a sizeable field. I don't believe I would have
the job if I hadn't made use of your services.

My friends,
I would like to share with you that I am
very happy about finding a job in our field. I applied on 1st of June at
the Catholic Children's Aid Society of Toronto, for the Children's
Services Worker position. On 18th of August I had the job interview and
Monday (23rd of August) they called me to tell that I got the job.
Hurray!!
I have been in Canada for 5 months and I
have 8 years experience in child protection in Romania.

Hello Everybody @ DERC,
Just thought I would drop you a note to tell you that I got a great job!!!
Just as you predicted and advised me, the job was not posted, in fact the
company didn't know that they needed to hire someone into this position
until they saw my resume, in response to a "lesser" job in their office.
Believe it or not, after 8 months of looking in other corporate
scenarios, event planning, office administrator, public relations,
sales, exec assistant and other kinds of jobs, I finally put together my
Landscape Contractor resume, and got 2 opportunities within 2 days!! Now I
am a project manager for an established small business ( 40 employees) in
landscape building, working on all aspects of luxury residential gardens,
the smallest garden we work on is valued @ $50,000 and up, but most are $
100,000 - 500,000, just for the private garden of various mansions in town
and the surrounding GTA. My bosses seem to be very happy with me after 2
weeks, and I am doing all my favourite things in the field of Landscape
Design, even photography.
I had thought that my experience in the area of Landscape Architecture was
limited because I didn't have Autocad, but this company doesn't use it, we
hand-draw our plans and elevations.

gratitude for the assistance I received from every staff member I
encountered.
I began to use your services in the months of August and September so that I
may have somewhere to create a resume and cover letter. In just a few short
weeks I was called
for my first interview at a Law Firm. Well, I GOT THE JOB!
